Dura and spinal nerves (Definative Human Project)

Modeled in 3D Max, Sculpted and textured in Zbrush. The dura was one of the more complicated items I was tasked with. It encapsulates a vast array of other named anatomical structures, across multiple regions. Additionally there are folds within the duramater that reflect within the cranial cavity. Blood supply, drainage and the nervous system all had to be modeled and balanced as to ensure it was sitting within either the epidural, subdural or sub arachnoid space. This will be displayed in a separate update at a later date.

Seen here is the cranial, cervical, thoracic and sacral segments of the dura matter.
